A steel bespoke collar bonding fastener with an extended thread for extra depth and strength. This example is a blind fastener, meaning the internal thread is shielded from the material that it is moulded into. The dual base plate design locks the body into position and prevents movement when tensile forces or torque is applied. This is a great example of of a bespoke collar bonding fasteners that we have designed and supplied which has been a great improvement on the previous solution, with this particular part replacing two shorter female threaded insterts from our standard range. Not only was this part easier to fit when installing into the overall assembly that our customer was manufacturing, but a significant cost saving was also gained.
